They may also utilize methods of propulsion that do not involve liquid lubricant or any other means that could affect the integrity of the track. Weight can be as much as 1 pound (453.59 grams). NO wet paint, sticky substances. NO glass, excessively fragile parts. WebThe Pinewood Derby is designed to be a learning experience for each Cub Scout. It enables the Scout to design, construct and detail the Scout’s car through adult supervision. The race itself is an opportunity to enrich competition, sportsmanship and sharing.
