The ‘tinny’ sound comes from you not fretting all the way, and wasn’t a big problem in this clip.

Different string gauge could also be the culprit. Something loose in or onnthe tuners could also make noises. If you have no distance between the string and fret 1 that’ll be the cause. It could be a neck relief issue - easily checked but I’m guessing it’s the nut slot, like most others who’ve responded.

This is easy to repair and all you have to do is take it to a music store that will repair it.... in common iiiYou could try putting a scrap of paper under the string in the slot to raise it up a bit. One or two layers. If that doesn’t help, more down angle as suggested. Or hold the string down right in front of the slot with a flat screw driver.
