I'm down to the studs and have removed the tile flooring. I found the flange from the previous toilet to be severely rusted and had to chip out the toilet bolts. Webthe flange itself was made of plastic - but the nuts and everything around it rusted. Upon removal, i find out that the flange itself is broken - so the toilet bolts couldn't stick. I sawed off the whole top of the flange and then inserted a new flange and bolted it down using a flange ring too. see: Error Getting Link Data
