Web17 mei 2010 · The easiest way to check the scaling of your images is to select the image with the Direct Selection tool in your InDesign Tools panel; it’s the second arrow tool (the white one) in the panel. Once the image is selected, the Control panel across the top of the screen will show you the image scaling. WebSizing down shouldn’t reduce image quality but sizing up can. If you select a preset size to resize your image and it might affect the image quality, you’ll notice a warning banner appear. Try using the Standard menu size options to get the desired aspect ratio based on your original image size and maintain as much quality as possible.
